North Mississippi All Stars

Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson founded North Mississippi Allstars in 1996, drawing inspiration from Mississippi musical elders including R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, Otha Turner and Fred McDowell. Over the years, the band has transformed those Hill Country blues traditions through Southern rock, Sacred Steel, psychedelia and improvisation into a sound they call "Modern Mississippi Music." Their latest chapter celebrates nearly three decades of keeping those traditions moving forward.
