William Elliott Whitmore

Iowa-born William Elliott Whitmore makes deeply rooted American music with little more than a weathered voice, banjo, guitar and kick drum. Raised on the family farm where he still lives, Whitmore draws on the land, mortality, resilience and the common experiences that connect people. Over more than two decades, his raw blend of folk, blues, soul and punk spirit has carried him from tiny clubs to festival stages and Carnegie Hall.
